International City 2, Dubai: Area Overview
International City 2 is a distinct district within Dubai, covering 731 hectares in the Warsan 4 area. It is strategically bordered by Emirates Road to the west, Academic City to the east, Silicon Oasis to the south, and International City 1 to the north, separated by a high-voltage power corridor.
The district includes Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the International City development. Notably, Phase 3 was developed before Phase 2, with the original green belt between them now designated for the Blue Line metro and station. Despite its proximity to Silicon Oasis, there is currently no direct transport link between the two.
International City 2 features unique architectural designs for each building, as land parcels were sold to private developers. High-rise towers are concentrated in the central circle area, while the remainder of the district consists of low- and mid-rise apartment buildings. Phase 2, now known as Greenview, is dedicated entirely to townhouses and villas, reflecting a shift from its initial plan for apartments.
