Al Jaddaf

Al Jaddaf Area Guide

Al Jaddaf is a vibrant district located in western Dubai within the Bur Dubai area. It is bordered to the north by Sheikh Rashid Road (E11) and to the west by Oud Metha Road (E66), with Dubai Creek forming its eastern and southern boundaries. Al Khail Road runs through the area, providing excellent connectivity.

The western and southern parts of Al Jaddaf are home to key facilities such as Latifa Hospital, Al Wasl football club amenities, and the planned Phase Two expansion of Dubai Healthcare City. Along the eastern banks of Dubai Creek, the district features industrial shipbuilding yards and dry docks, the Mohamed bin Rashid Library, and the upscale Dubai Culture Village.

Significant land parcels within Al Jaddaf are designated for future development, contributing to the area’s growth potential. The extension of Dubai Creek towards Business Bay and Jumeirah has enhanced marine transport and leisure activities, benefiting the local shipbuilding and maintenance industries.

While many construction projects initiated before 2018 have reached completion, new developments have slowed. The area currently lacks green spaces but remains strategically positioned for cultural, healthcare, and maritime activities.
