Dubai CommerCity: Premier E-Commerce Free Zone in Umm Ramool
Dubai CommerCity is a dedicated e-commerce free zone located in Umm Ramool, near Dubai International Airport. Developed with an investment of AED 3.2 billion, it serves as a strategic hub for companies aiming to establish regional headquarters in Dubai.
The first phase, launched in April 2021, covers 470,000 square feet of a planned 2.1 million square feet. This phase includes over 320,000 square feet of office space alongside 145,000 square feet of logistics units and multi-client warehouses. The logistics cluster is managed by leading global logistics providers, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
More than half of the warehouse space was leased shortly after launch, reflecting strong demand. Dubai CommerCity offers flexible storage solutions under a pay-as-you-go model, enabling businesses to scale according to their operational needs.
Partnerships with e-commerce technology and consultancy firms provide tenants with comprehensive e-commerce services, enhancing their market capabilities. The location benefits from the rapid growth of the e-commerce sector in the Middle East and North Africa, which reached $22 billion in 2020, with the UAE playing a significant role.
