Al Badia Hillside: A Unique Community in Dubai Festival City
Al Badia Hillside is a distinctive sub-community within Dubai Festival City, featuring over 900 designer apartments and 400 townhomes set on a 25-meter high man-made terraced hill. The residences include one- to three-bedroom apartments and three- to four-bedroom townhouses, arranged across 37 condominium buildings ranging from seven to ten stories.
The community offers exceptional views of Dubai Creek, Al Badia Golf Course, and Festival City Mall. Its design draws inspiration from traditional Arabian architecture and Mediterranean hillside villages, reflecting the region’s cultural heritage. The first phase includes seven condominium buildings with over 145 unique apartment layouts, featuring courtyards and open terraces.
The hillside was created through a significant engineering effort, relocating over 2.5 million cubic meters of fill material from nearby airport excavations. The masterplan envisions a vibrant public square called The Maidan at the hill’s summit, intended to host shops, cafes, galleries, and parks, creating a communal destination for residents and visitors.
Additional amenities include a public park with walking paths, swimming pools, sports and recreational areas, water features, and secluded spaces. The community is designed with an efficient road network and ample parking to maintain a peaceful village atmosphere without congestion.
