Al Badia Golf Club is a distinguished area within Dubai Festival City, known for its former championship golf course and iconic clubhouse. Established in 2005, the club featured an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones II, spanning 85 acres of lush turf surrounded by native trees, plants, and sandy hazards.
The course offered varied play lengths, ranging from 7,388 yards for advanced players to 5,398 yards for beginners, making it accessible to golfers of all skill levels. Water elements are a key feature, with eleven lakes, multiple waterfalls, and a prime location along the Creek enhancing the scenic experience.
The clubhouse, notable for its sailboat-inspired architecture, was centrally located with both the front and back nine holes returning to it. It housed four restaurants, two bars, and previously included amenities such as a golf school, a golf shop, an all-day dining restaurant, and a spa with three suites.
Although the club ceased public operations in 2017 and is now private property, Al Badia Golf Club remains a significant landmark within Dubai Festival City, reflecting a blend of natural beauty and sophisticated design.
