About the project

La Voile Building 2 is a completed residential building at Port de La Mer in Jumeirah 1, Dubai, developed by Meraas. Dubai Land Department (DLD) registers it within project number 2181, whose DLD/Mashrooi name is Port De La Mer – La Voile. The project reached Finished status at 100% completion on 3 April 2022, following a construction start date of 1 December 2019.

Building and residences

DLD records one building with seven floors, or nine levels when podium and basement levels are included. The building register contains 50 units, including one recorded without a bedroom type. Its residential register includes 15 one-bedroom homes of 813-879 sq ft, 24 two-bedroom homes of 1,201-1,361 sq ft, nine three-bedroom homes of 2,001-2,067 sq ft, and one four-bedroom home of 3,085 sq ft. The developer’s materials describe La Voile as a project-wide collection of one- to five-bedroom apartments. Brochure plans for Building 1 show one-bedroom homes with net areas of about 68-70 sqm and balconies of about 4.6-8.2 sqm, while two-bedroom plans show about 104-132 sqm net areas and balconies of about 7.2-13 sqm. They also show a 254 sqm four-bedroom and an about 460 sqm five-bedroom home.

Facilities and amenities

The developer’s website lists a swimming pool, yoga area, kids play area, BBQ area and retail. Developer materials for Port de La Mer also list beach access, marina and yacht club access, waterfront promenades and private landscaped terraces. At community level, the developer’s brochure refers to a 190+ berth marina and yacht club, swimming pools and kids play areas.

Location

The building is in Port de La Mer, a waterfront community in Jumeirah 1, within the DLD area of Jumeirah First and the La Mer master project. The developer’s brochure places Port de La Mer at La Mer in the Jumeirah 1 neighbourhood and describes it as the first freehold master community in Jumeirah. The same developer material states that La Mer has 2.5 km of beaches.

Prices, rents and resale
