La Voile Building 1 is a completed residential building at Port de La Mer in Jumeirah 1, Dubai, developed by Meraas. Dubai Land Department (DLD) records it under project number 2181, whose DLD/Mashrooi project name is Port De La Mer – La Voile. The project was completed on 3 April 2022, following a construction start on 1 December 2019.

Building and residences

DLD registers one building with seven floors and nine levels including podium and basement. The building unit register contains 69 units, including two recorded without a bedroom type as shops or other units. Registered homes comprise 42 one-bedroom apartments of 790-891 sq ft, 23 two-bedroom apartments of 1,198-1,963 sq ft, one four-bedroom apartment of 3,402 sq ft and one five-bedroom apartment of 5,593 sq ft. The developer’s brochure plan sheets for Building 1 show one-bedroom homes of about 68-70 sqm net area and two-bedroom homes of about 104-132 sqm net area. They also show a 254 sqm four-bedroom home and a five-bedroom home of about 460 sqm net area. Developer materials describe La Voile as a whole as offering one- to five-bedroom apartments.

Facilities and amenities

The developer’s materials list a swimming pool, yoga area, kids play area and BBQ area for La Voile. They also refer to beach access, marina and yacht club access, waterfront promenades and retail nearby. These features are described at project or community level rather than as facilities assigned solely to Building 1. The developer’s La Rive brochure lists a 190+ berth marina and yacht club, swimming pools, play areas and private landscaped terraces at Port de La Mer.

Location

The building is in Port de La Mer, a waterfront community in Jumeirah 1, within the DLD area of Jumeirah First and the La Mer master project. According to the developer’s materials, Port de La Mer is at La Mer in the Jumeirah 1 neighbourhood. The same materials describe Port de La Mer as the first freehold master community in Jumeirah and state that La Mer has 2.5 km of beaches.
