A pedestrian bridge connects the area with the House of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum and its associated museum and theatre. The Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal at Port Rashid provides berth-side services for visiting yachts and cruise ships.

Marina and leisure setting

The marina at Rashid Yachts & Marina has more than 430 wet berths and can accommodate yachts up to 100 metres in length. Berthing options include short stays as well as seasonal and annual arrangements. The waterfront programme includes a floating yacht club, a beach club, hotels and public promenades. Retail, dining and leisure uses are planned along the waterfront, alongside residential areas. The site brings together Port Rashid’s maritime heritage with new marina and waterfront facilities, while the QE2 remains a focal point of the district. These elements establish the setting in which Fior 1 is located.
