Dubai Global Connect: A Premier Wholesale Market in Dubai South
Dubai Global Connect (DGC) is a dedicated wholesale market platform situated within Dubai South. Spanning one million square metres, it is strategically located along the logistics corridor adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport and connected to Jebel Ali Port, the largest port in the Middle East.
Launched in September 2020, DGC aims to streamline global trade flows by providing a unique trade infrastructure. The market focuses on three key sectors: Furniture & Living, Food, and Fashion, chosen for their rapid growth and regional relevance.
The facility operates year-round, welcoming qualified retail buyers, designers, manufacturers, and industry professionals. It is not open to the general public. Supporting its physical presence, DGC offers a digital wholesale trading platform that facilitates seamless connections between sellers and buyers worldwide.
The development, also known as the “City of Trade,” is being constructed in phases. The first phase covers 400,000 square metres and includes trade facilities such as on-site storage, boutique offices, an innovation hub, and a smart service centre hosting third-party service providers. In early 2021, the DGC Visitor Centre was officially inaugurated, enhancing the visitor experience.
