The community has multiple entry and exit points to Hessa Street, introduced through a roads improvement scheme in October 2016. JVC has developed in phases over many years, with hundreds of villas, townhouses and apartment blocks delivered by 2016. By mid-2020, 235 towers or townhouse rows had been completed, while 110 were under construction. Construction activity and new services continue across the wider community.
JVC is primarily car-oriented and has road links to central corridors of Dubai. Dubai Marina is 7.3 km away, Palm Jumeirah is 9.3 km away and JBR Beach is 8.0 km away. Mall of the Emirates is 6.9 km from the community, while Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai are 17.0 km away. Dubai Mall is 17.3 km away, Dubai International Airport is 27.0 km away and Al Maktoum International Airport is 18.4 km away.
