The marina at Rashid Yachts & Marina has more than 430 wet berths and can accommodate yachts up to 100 metres in length. Berthing arrangements include short-stay, seasonal and annual options. The district also includes a 500-metre palm-fringed swimmable canal and a 12,600-square-metre sandy beach. A floating yacht club, a private beach club, hotels and public promenades are among the leisure and hospitality elements within the precinct. Port Rashid’s Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal provides berth-side services for visiting yachts and cruise ships. The QE2 serves as a permanently docked hotel and exhibition venue within the waterfront area.

Rashid Yachts & Marina is planned as a mixed-use waterfront destination, bringing together residential, hospitality, marina and leisure uses. Its retail, dining and leisure component has been referenced as The Dubai Mall by the Sea. Public promenades, parkland, art and cultural venues are included in the broader waterfront environment, alongside interconnected public spaces. The district’s maritime heritage is reflected in its setting at Port Rashid, its marina infrastructure and the presence of the QE2. The masterplan combines these existing maritime elements with newer residential blocks and waterfront leisure facilities.

Access to central Dubai

The nearest Dubai Metro Green Line station is G24, located 661 metres from the site. Typical driving times from the marina area are 16 minutes to Dubai Mall, 28 minutes to Palm Jumeirah, 26 minutes to Burj Al Arab and 32 minutes to The Walk at JBR. Dubai International Airport is reached in 17 minutes by car, while Al Maktoum International Airport is 53 minutes away by car. The location places Pier Point 1 within the Dubai Creek waterfront area, close to Bur Dubai and Deira and within reach of the city’s central districts.

Pier Point 1 commenced on 22 February 2025. The project is recorded as active, and its completion ratio was 8.27% at the inspection dated 14 May 2026. The scheduled completion date is 31 October 2028. The development’s recorded total area is 12,894.42 square metres.
