Masterplan and residential setting
Damac Islands 2 sits within Dubai Land, directly south of Damac Islands 1. The masterplan is organised around five themes: nature, wellness, adventure, social life and cultural life. Landscaped public spaces and waterfronts are intended to form a central spine through the community, linking lakes, a natural swimming lagoon, floating gardens, hanging bridges and elevated treetop areas. The plan also incorporates renewable-energy features, smart infrastructure and energy-efficient measures. Walking and cycling routes are designed to connect homes with water features and green areas across the development.
Homes and design direction
The Damac Islands 2 residential mix includes detached villas, semi-detached twin villas, terraced villas and townhouses. Townhouses are planned as end and mid units with ground, first and roof floors, open-plan arrangements, private gardens and rooftop terraces. Villas are distributed along waterfront frontages within landscaped greenery, with private pools and terraces included in the intended residential layout. Concept specifications reference walnut wood veneer, brushed brass finishes and large-format porcelain slabs. The listed floor and surface materials include Calacatta Gold porcelain, Marvel W Orobico, Entice Elegant Palissandro, Marvel Gala Desert Soul, Marvel W Taj Mahal polished porcelain and Fior de Bosco marble for selected countertops.

The community plan includes a central eco park and botanic garden with an orchard field and butterfly nesting areas. Water-focused facilities include a natural swimming lagoon, saltwater pools and floating gardens linked by hanging bridges and bird-watching observation decks. A whispering waterfall is planned with sensor-controlled cascades and trails for wooden kayak circulation. The solar link park includes solar charging stations and dedicated e-scooter lanes. Planned adventure areas include the Sky Woods treehouse park, a canopy walk, zipline facilities, wild-park areas and hanging bridges. An outdoor clubhouse is planned beside the natural lagoon.
Wellness, sport and social spaces
Wellness provision in the masterplan includes a healing spa, hydrotherapy zones, a healing herb garden, aromatherapy offerings and an herbal tea bar. Fitness facilities are planned to include an eco-friendly gym, biodynamic training programmes, eco performance grounds and outdoor sports fields. The indoor eco hub clubhouse is designed to bring together fitness and wellness facilities. The cultural square is planned with a controlled-climate dome, performance stage, food market, museum library, art and sculpture installations, and a study garden. Eco-lodge accommodation is also included in the wider community plan.
