The masterplan is built around five themes: nature, wellness, adventure, social life and cultural life. Landscaped public areas and waterfronts are planned as a central spine across the community, linking lakes, a natural swimming lagoon, floating gardens, hanging bridges and elevated treetop areas. The community plan also incorporates renewable-energy features, smart infrastructure and energy-efficient measures.

Residential setting and planned home types

The Damac Islands 2 masterplan includes detached villas, semi-detached twin villas, terraced villas and townhouses. Villas are planned along waterfront frontages and within landscaped greenery, with private pools and terraces included in the residential design intent. Townhouses are arranged as end and mid units with ground, first and roof floors. Their layouts typically include open-plan living areas, private gardens and rooftop terraces. The community’s residential planning places emphasis on connections to water, landscaped spaces, walking routes and cycling routes. Interior concept specifications reference walnut wood veneer, brushed brass metal finishes and large-format porcelain slabs.

Landscape, water and ecological features

The community plan includes a central eco park and a botanic garden with an orchard field and butterfly nesting areas. A natural swimming lagoon, saltwater pools and floating gardens are planned alongside hanging bridges and bird-watching observation decks. A whispering waterfall is designed with sensor-controlled cascades and trails for wooden kayak circulation. The solar link park includes solar charging stations and dedicated e-scooter lanes. Waterfronts, green spaces and ecological elements are integral to the planned layout rather than separate amenity zones. These features sit within the community-wide design concept for Damac Islands 2.

Wellness, sport and social spaces

Planned wellness facilities in Damac Islands 2 include a healing spa, hydrotherapy zones, a healing herb garden, aromatherapy offerings and an herbal tea bar. Fitness provision includes an eco-friendly gym, biodynamic training programmes, eco performance grounds and outdoor sports fields. Adventure facilities include a sky woods treehouse park, canopy walk, zipline and wild-park areas with hanging bridges. The cultural square is planned with a controlled-climate dome, performance stage, food market, museum library, art and sculpture installations, and a study garden. The masterplan also includes an outdoor clubhouse beside the natural lagoon, an indoor eco hub clubhouse, and eco-lodge accommodation.
