Barsha Heights

Barsha Heights is a vibrant residential and commercial district in Dubai, located between The Greens and Al Barsha. Positioned about two kilometres inland from Palm Jumeirah, it is bordered by Sheikh Zayed Road, Hessa Street, First Al Khail Street, and Jebel Ali Racecourse Road.

The area is characterized by numerous high-rise towers alongside a few mid-rise buildings. Development began in 2006, and by mid-2020, approximately 90 buildings were completed with several more under construction. Formerly known as TECOM until 2016, Barsha Heights has evolved into a well-established community.

Residents enjoy a variety of dining options, including many licensed restaurants within the district’s four- and five-star hotels. The central pedestrian plaza enhances the community atmosphere, especially during cooler months when the area becomes lively after sunset. The plaza offers shaded seating, well-maintained greenery, and easy walkability, replacing the previously sandy and unorganized spaces.

Barsha Heights benefits from convenient access to public transportation, with a nearby metro station allowing residents to live comfortably without a car. While the district has limited open green spaces, the landscaping and young trees throughout the pedestrian areas contribute to a pleasant environment. Overall, Barsha Heights offers a balanced urban lifestyle with modern amenities and good connectivity in Dubai.
