Porto Dubai is a planned luxury residential community located on the Umm Suqeim coast, near the Umm Suqeim Fishing Harbour. Positioned a short distance from the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel, the development was initially scheduled for completion in 2010. However, construction was halted in 2009 due to financial difficulties faced by the developer amid the global financial crisis. The original project has since been abandoned and replaced by a new development initiative in the area.
