Mirdif

Mirdif is a residential neighborhood located in the northeast of Dubai, approximately 10 kilometers from Deira City Centre and near Dubai International Airport. It is bordered by Al Mizhar to the north and Al Warqa to the south, with Al Mushrif public park situated on its eastern side.

The area primarily features villas, including standalone homes and properties within gated communities. Mirdif hosts three main gated communities: Uptown Mirdif, Shorooq, and Ghoroob.

Uptown Mirdif

Uptown Mirdif is a gated community inspired by an English spa town, offering over 2,000 villas and apartments. It includes amenities such as play areas, recreational facilities, a healthcare center, and a primary school, making it suitable for families.

Shorooq Community

Located along Algeria Street near Mushrif Park, Shorooq Community consists mainly of 668 modern two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas. The community features a clubhouse for residents.

Ghoroob

Ghoroob comprises nearly 3,000 apartments in low-rise buildings, offering studios and one- to three-bedroom units across five different styles. The community is surrounded by landscaped gardens and includes children’s play areas, basketball and volleyball courts, and its own supermarket.

Mirdif’s population is diverse, including Emiratis, Europeans, South Asians, and Arabs. Since the 1990s, it has become increasingly popular among expatriates seeking a suburban lifestyle close to the city.
