The original plan covered 16.5 million square feet and envisaged a high-density arrangement of 150 towers, with residential, commercial, retail and entertainment land uses. The master plan was prepared by Halcrow. Majan’s original plan later evolved to accommodate smaller plot developments, creating an incremental pattern of development across the community. The district includes mid-rise projects as well as taller nearby buildings such as Safa Tower and Al Rabia Tower.
