Damac Islands is planned around a central lagoon system intended for swimming and paddling, with water-based public spaces and recreational attractions. The community concept includes an Aqua Dome with underwater projections and dining areas, a waterfall lagoon, an aqua park, and a jungle river with vegetation, waterfalls and rapids. Water platforms are planned for bars and event spaces, while a central hub fountain is designed to combine water, fire and laser elements. The masterplan also identifies a Hot Springs Spa with lagoon waterfalls and infinity pools, floating yoga decks, a calisthenics park and a fitness park. Other planned attractions include a zipline, jungle swings, a tortoise garden, parrot park, wildlife park, wedding venue and gondola-style paddling on illuminated water.
