Al Safa

Al Safa is a predominantly residential neighborhood in Dubai, situated between Umm Suqeim 1 and Sheikh Zayed Road. Known for its low-rise buildings, the area is home to a diverse community including many Emirati families and expatriates.

The community is well-served by numerous reputable educational institutions such as Jumeirah College, Jumeirah Primary School, Jumeirah English Speaking School, Al Ittihad Private School, Emirates English Speaking School, and English College Primary & Secondary, along with several nursery schools.

Just north of Al Safa lies Safa Park, a prominent green space established in 1975. Originally the site of a shanty town housing immigrant workers, Safa Park has evolved into one of Dubai’s most cherished open areas. The Dubai Water Canal, opened in 2017, passes through the park, reducing its size by about 30 percent but introducing new waterside promenades that enhance the recreational experience.
