GHD Developments is the real-estate development arm of a group active in wholesale trade, petroleum, commercial banking, construction, property and investments. In Dubai, the developer works on residential and commercial property. The group began in trading and subsequently broadened into these business areas. Its operations and investments extend through Afghanistan, the UAE, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Türkiye. Within the emirate, the projects on our site are concentrated in Jumeirah Village Circle rather than spread across several communities. The developer describes its approach around functional design, detailed planning and delivery. This places its property activity within a multi-sector group, while its Dubai work remains directed at developing homes and commercial premises. The current Jumeirah Village Circle selection consists of separate residential projects, allowing buyers to assess each building on its own unit count, handover record and documentation.

In Jumeirah Village Circle, the completed La Perla Homes buildings share the same Q1 2024 handover period and are recorded as 100% complete. La Perla Homes 10 contains 13 units, making it the smaller of the two completed schemes. Its counterpart, La Perla Homes 12, contains 18 units. The distinction is therefore in the scale of the individual building rather than in construction timing: both are completed Jumeirah Village Circle projects with the same recorded handover quarter. For a buyer comparing the two, the relevant project-level differences are the building reference and the number of units, while their completion status places them beyond the under-construction stage.

What to check before buying

For either La Perla Homes building, check that the unit documents identify the correct building reference, 10 or 12, and review its handover paperwork and completed-condition records. Ensure the selling company in the documents matches the developer recorded for that project in the DLD registry.
