by Kleindienst Group in The Heart of Europe
THE CÔTE D’AZUR HOTEL is a residential project by Kleindienst Group in The Heart of Europe, Dubai.
About the project
The Côte d’Azur Hotel is a planned five-star deluxe beachfront hotel by Kleindienst Group on Main Europe Island at The Heart of Europe. Located 4 km off the coast of Dubai, the hotel is planned to comprise more than 600 keys and offer Deluxe Suite and Superior Deluxe Suite accommodation. Its planned setting is close to the Main Gate and within walking distance of the amphitheatre.
A beachfront hotel on Main Europe Island
The Côte d’Azur Hotel is planned for a prime beachfront position on Main Europe Island, part of The Heart of Europe within The World. The hotel takes its name and design direction from the Côte d’Azur, or Blue Coast, in southern France. Its architecture is planned around contemporary Mediterranean influences, with high-quality specifications and sustainable technology. The hotel is west-facing, and accommodation is planned to look towards the sea and Dubai skyline or over an adjacent European-style street. This street is planned to feature luxury boutiques, cafés and restaurants. The hotel’s position also places it alongside the island’s beach, marinas, hospitality venues and entertainment facilities.
Suites and hotel accommodation
The hotel is planned as a five-star deluxe beach resort with more than 600 keys. Its accommodation selection comprises Deluxe Suites and Superior Deluxe Suites. The suite plans show bedroom, bathroom and balcony spaces in both suite types, while the Deluxe Suite plan also includes a living area and guest toilet. Each accommodation unit is planned to have either sea and Dubai skyline views or views across the adjacent European-style street. The hotel is intended to be operated and fully managed by a leading European hospitality brand. The project combines hotel accommodation with an island setting that includes cafés, restaurants, shops, boutiques, marinas and beachfront leisure facilities.
Hotel leisure and dining facilities
Planned hotel facilities include swimming pools, landscaped gardens and a white sandy beach. Children’s clubs are included alongside watersports, diving and snorkelling facilities. Guests are planned to have access to Mediterranean-style beach cafés, speciality restaurants and shopping facilities at the hotel. The beachfront location forms part of the hotel’s leisure offering, with the island also planned around marinas, boardwalks and European-inspired public spaces. Live entertainment is part of the wider island proposition. These facilities place dining, water-based activities, beach access and family-oriented spaces within the hotel and its immediate Main Europe Island setting.
The Heart of Europe setting
The Heart of Europe is a cluster of six islands on The World, located 4 km off the coast of Dubai. Main Europe is its largest island and is planned to contain luxury hotels, marinas, white sandy beaches, cafés, restaurants, shops, boutiques and entertainment facilities. The wider destination takes inspiration from European countries including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland. Its planned attractions include European-themed boutique hotels, a permanent circus, an underwater museum and an annual programme of events featuring street performers, artists and musicians. The Côte d’Azur Hotel is located close to the Main Gate and within walking distance of the amphitheatre on Main Europe Island.
Climate-controlled streets and island features
The Heart of Europe is planned to include outdoor climate-controlled areas, including streets lined with rain and snow effects. The climate-control concept uses return air from buildings and hotels directed to air vents along the streets, while filtered condensation water is intended to create rain effects. Main Europe Island is planned with European-inspired streets, plazas, marinas and boardwalks. Its public realm is intended to bring together themed street cafés, boutiques, beach clubs and hotels. The hotel sits beside one such European-style street, planned to host luxury boutiques, cafés and restaurants. The island’s leisure programme also includes watersports, snorkelling, diving and sailing activities.
