The original facilities plan included a swimming pool, ladies’ gymnasium and gents’ gymnasium. It also identified separate ladies’ and gents’ spas, sauna facilities, steam rooms and locker rooms. The pool and wellness facilities were shown with terraces, lift access, lobby areas, pump and filter rooms, and supporting utility spaces. Showrooms were included in the ground-level plan, alongside the residential component. These facilities belong to the original project presentation and do not alter Arabian Gate’s current cancelled status.

Dubai Silicon Oasis setting

Arabian Gate is located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, a technology-focused free zone and mixed-use community. Dubai Silicon Oasis combines residential, office, industrial, warehousing and manufacturing uses within the same district. The community is positioned at the junction of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, E311, and Al Ain Road, E66. It was established in 2004 and spans 7.2 square kilometres. The district includes a central man-made lake with a running track, while its infrastructure includes advanced telecommunications, an optic network, a Tier 3 data centre, high-tech utility infrastructure, completed roads, on-site IT support and a microelectronics lab.
